The Phase One Flagship Program is an entry level program designed to teach the fundamental basics of barbering. A "must have" for beginners, this course introduces easy to learn principles that will be used throughou every stage of a barber's career.

PHASE TWO FLAGSHIP PROGRAM
The Phase Two Flagship Program is a midlevel program for applicants with basic to moderate barbering experience. This intermediary course, will equip applicants with the needed skills to practice the trade as an apprentice in a professional environment.

APPRENTICESHIP
PROGRAM
Apprenticeship is the process of learning a skilled trade through on the job training. This invaluable training is guided by an experienced master barber (Journey Person).
Our collaboration with sponsored barbershops
will offer eligible program graduates an oppurtunity
to work in selected barbershops and attain an apprenticeship license. An apprenticeship license is valid for two years, after which, an application for renewal or state board exam can be submitted. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or 16 years old with parental aproval to apply!
STATE BOARD
EXAM PREP
In order to become a NYS Licensed Master Barber, you must pass the NY State board exam. This prep workshop, taught on mannequins, will adequately prepare applicants by guiding them through the step by step process.

After completion of training, applicants will take a Timed Simulation Exam to gauge their testing proficiency. The simulation exam will be evaluated by our instructors using the same Rubric Model Actual State Examiners Employ.
YOUTH MENTORSHIP/AFTER SCHOOL
SCHOOL PROGRAM
The Youth Mentorship Program is an after school workshop with the objective of instilling trade, self pride, and leadership qualities in our future generation. The workshop is designed to accomodate age groups ranging from 13-16. Although the program cannot offer apprenticeship because of age, attending youth will receive a certificate upon completion of course.
