Razor Blaze Hair Education is a program tailored to teach fundamental skills Barbering and Braiding, for individuals interested in embarking on a career in the hair industry. Our program also has a Youth Program with the objective of instilling trade, self-pride and leadership qualities in our future generation.
OUR MISSION
The Barbering Workshop will be an apprentice course taught by seasoned Master Barbers that will help develop job readiness skills. Provide educational, entrepreneur, and employment opportunities using the latest tools and techniques of the craft. The agenda of the workshop will include

3. TOOL & SUPPLY UNDERSTANDING
4. HAIR STYLING AND PRINCIPLES OF HAIR CUTTING
5. INFECTION CONTROL PROCEDURES
6. BARBERSHOP OPERATION GUIDELINES
7. LAWS AND REGULATIONS
8. CUSTOMER SERVICE
9. NYS STATE BOARD EXAM PREPARATION
UPON COMPLETION OF THE PROGRAM STUDENTS WILL HAVE RECEIVED

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION
BARBER APPRENTICE LICENSE
(good for 2 years, in which apprentice will be eligible to apply for State Board Master Exam)
YOUTH MENTORSHIP
PROGRAM
This workshop is designed to accommodate our young generation between the ages 12-16.
Note: Although the workshop cannot offer an apprenticeship because of age; the impact of the program has shown that our young students develop immeasurable self-worth and mental development skills.
